Thank you for your feedback as you started using QR codes over the last few months. You asked for touch free sharing by text as well as email, and some of you had trouble scanning QR codes in harsh lighting conditions.
We have added touch free texting (SMS+Image, SMS and MMS) to DSLR Remote Pro and Breeze Booth for iPad, and a unique algorithm to DSLR Remote Pro to read QR codes in bright light outdoors. There is also a new online form for contactlessbooth.com to quickly build the custom screens your guests see when they create QR codes.
What’s new in each new release?
New in Booth (iPad+iPhone) 1.1.1
Texting now supports SMS+image and MMS (USA and Canada only) as well as SMS
Contactless sharing by text
Autotexting
More accurate face-tracking for virtual props

Breeze are delighted to announce the release of Breeze Booth (iPad + iPhone) 1.1 . This release introduces touch free operation for iPad booths, plus quick set up.
Contactless booth operation is a game changing innovation introduced in our DSLR based booth software earlier this month.
Breeze Booth 1.1, Event Editor 1.4.1 and Hub 1.1.3 also add
quick setup – log in and setup an iPad simply by scanning a QR code
Like magic, but more hygienic. The complete photo booth experience without touching the booth. Breeze touch free booth software takes and shares photos, burst and slideshow GIFs without guests or an attendant touching the booth.

Fantastic for festivals, theme parks and other large venues with multiple booths. Great for groups – everyone quickly scans their details into the sharing screen to receive a copy of the image.
What does a touch free booth offer now and in the longer term?
Better guest experience
Less waiting in line
Improved hygiene
Contactless data collection
Pre registration and data collection support
Quick Setup
Show Breeze Booth a single QR code to log into the App and load events. A totally new way to set up unattended booths, virtual and white label events, and other remote devices.
Quick setup offers
Improved customer experience for unattended booths
Log guest email addresses and cell phone numbers in Breeze Hub 1.1.3.
Originally designed as a companion app to Booth (iPad + iPhone), Hub is free to all Breeze customers and also supports Booth (DSLR + Windows) aka DSLR Remote Pro and Kiosk. Hub sends and shares photos, GIFs and video in the background of other tasks. No more waiting for images to upload before the next session starts, and minimal use of Internet bandwidth at events.
Email and SMS/MMS logs can be copied and pasted into Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications.
AI Background removal
AI based Background removal is a great alternative to green screen. The quality is awesome, there’s no cumbersome backdrop, and lighting is much simpler.

There’s no charge to try Breeze Booth – Get started
Thanks to Steve Bliesner & Photo Booth Guys Australia for letting us share this video of their latest activation for Amazon.
Steve writes
Working in harmony to create high end activations that go out for, not $100-200 an hour.. but $1000 – $ 2000 an hour.
I used every trick in the Breeze book to pull this one off.
Breeze for iPad was running a very custom survey to collect data on guests, to determine what Drag Queen they would be and what personalised text they wanted on their GIF and Print. Additionally, guests entered their email address (so they didn’t have to use a sharing station later).
That data was sent via Breeze Hub, to Breeze Kiosk, where a QR code had been generated, and was then scanned in via a barcode reader, by our staff, in to Breeze Webcam.
Webcam had a customised interface that was live streamed to two large screens… (that masked any sensitive information and removed any interface control elements).
With one scan, that QR code kicked off the session, auto chose the chosen Drag Queen, personalised their print and GIF and emailed the image to the guest.
There is only one company that makes software that allows people like you and me to do stuff like this.
Meet Steve at the Breeze stand (#1113) at Photo Booth Expo next week.

QR codes are increasingly popular, as many smart phone cameras include a built in QR code reader. ( There is no need to download a special app, just point the camera at the QR code.)
Menus are a simple way to offer guests choices such as virtual props or filter style. Use up to 4 different menus in your ready screens.

Breeze Booth features the most powerful and flexible interface designer of any iPad app in the industry. You can already customize the Breeze Booth start screen and Start button . Breeze Booth 1.0.7 improved customization of the Start button.
The flexibility built in to our interface design is also great for localization and creative interface design.

Breeze Booth for iPad
Launched in March, Breeze Booth for iPad is a powerful photo booth app that lets you create GIFs, print digital images and design custom interfaces and experiences across multiple iOS devices. A perfect fit for fixed installations, roaming and stationary devices at events.
Custom interfaces and experiences
Design unique, custom interfaces/user experiences and quickly deploy them to a fleet of iPads using trusted cloud services (Dropbox, iCloud etc) or via your own private and secure web servers.
Set up events
Enjoy centralised set up of events, interfaces and image branding via a handy Windows-based app. Team up with Breeze Event Editor to professionally control and customise each area of your event.
Standalone capability and redundancy
If necessary your events can run offline, using your own private, secure sync and image sharing servers.
Display virtual prop text correctly both in live view and outputs
Improved AirPrint support
Support for iPadOS and iOS 13
Vary the props in your GIFs and photos
You can find a tutorial outlining how to add virtual props here, and more details in the online manual.
Display virtual text correctly in both live view and outputs
Photo booth live view is usually mirrored so that guests see themselves as they would in a mirror. This causes problems with text in virtual props because the text is also mirrored. Breeze Booth 1.0.4 solves this problem.
Download the Windows based companion apps Event Editor and Hub here
Can I try this for free?
Yes! Download and try Breeze Booth from the App Store, and companion Apps Event Editor and Breeze Hub from our website. There’s no charge for this. You don’t even need to buy a license to create your own events. Just download and install Breeze Booth Event Editor 1.3.1 onto a Windows PC.
* Devices must run iPadOS, iOS 13 or iOS 12.
How to buy a Breeze Booth subscription
Breeze Booth subscriptions cost just US $49 /month or US $440 /per year. Open an account at breezebooth.net before you buy a subscription.
